    Unpublished and published works from the field of fashion-, lifestyle- and beauty-photography.

    Published works in the field of fine art, for example works that have been shown in exhibitions or published in magazines, books or catalogues

    Category for works in progress or projects wich have not been published so far. The jury is looking for innovative visual languages, newly interpreted realities, and pioneering photography.

    One of the works exhibited can be acquired for the Bank Julius Baer’s art collection.
  • Entry fee for ADC Award waived
    The best three works in the fashion and advertising categories will be put forward for the ADC Award – with the entry fee waived!
  • Special prize from MAZ: participation in masterclass
    For the second time, the Swiss School of Journalism (MAZ) will be giving one of the exhibited photographers the chance to participate in a masterclass (worth CHF 2,500) as part of its editorial photography programme.

  • Public award from ewz energy
    In the run-up to the exhibition members of the public are invited to choose one of the 70 best works for the public award. 
    The winning work will receive CHF 2'000.- in prize money, and people participating in the public award will be included in a draw for attractive prizes.

  • The Best of 2012 catalogue presenting the 21 winning works
    The twentyone works receiving an award will be published in the Swiss Photo Award Catalogue: the Best of 2013. 

  • The image database will publish all entries online.
    As before, all works submitted will be published in the Swiss Photo Collection image database.
